Welcome to Kays Toy Poodles, we appreciate you stopping by.  We have been breeding AKC toy poodles for 37 years.  We are dedicated in breeding top quality poodles.  Our AKC toy poodles are healthy, beautiful, intelligent and Champion sired. We breed black or brown AKC toy poodles.  All of which are a direct result of our breeding experience.  

I am now retired after a 20 year career in Communications with a Colorado Police Department.  Our children are all grown and we have 9 wonderful grand children and 5 great grandchild. This is not a business for us.  Showing, breeding, raising and socializing our toy poodles is a very pleasurable experience.   We are involved in the show ring and many of our gorgeous black and brown toy poodles have been finished to their Championship. Several have gone on to achieve National Awards and rankings with the AKC.   Pictured on Champion Poodles page are just a small few of our Champions.

Our intentions are to breed toy poodles according to the AKC standard.  We do genetic testing where applicable in an attempt to breed and produce toy poodle puppies that are genetically sound, with excellent temperaments that are also very well socialized.  Socialization is a very important part of every puppy.  From birth, they are handled daily, cuddled loved and talked to.  This in turn creates an overall balanced, confident companion. The human touch from birth is very important in all dogs.

All necessary vaccinations are current at the time of sale and health is guaranteed.   Our Toy Poodle Puppies are honestly represented and fairly priced.

companion pets as well as the show ring.

 
We specialize in Black or Brown Toy Poodles, with excellent pigmentation. We are one of few left that have maintained the color genetics of only black and brown breeding.  No other colors are mixed into our lines.
